Troubleshooting

1. I can’t see the “Sell on Credit” option at checkout.

  • Ensure you are on the Checkout Page.

  • If still missing, refresh the page or update the app.

2. I’m unable to attach a customer for credit sales.

  • Verify that the customer is already added in your database.

  • If it’s a new customer, use the Add New Customer option before proceeding.

3. The credit amount is not saving.

  • Double-check that you entered the due date and credit amount. Both are required fields.

  • Try re-entering the details and clicking Save again.

4. Receipt not found after a credit sale.

  • Go to Sales > Sales Records. All receipts are stored there, even if they were not printed.

FAQs

Q1: Do I need to attach a customer for credit sales?
Yes. Credit sales must be tied to a customer profile so repayment can be tracked.

Q2: Can a customer pay part of the amount upfront?
Yes. You can record a deposit when setting up the credit sale.

Q3: Where can I track outstanding credit sales?
Go to Sales > Sales Records or Sales Overview. You can filter sales by “Credit Sales.”

Q4: Can I edit a credit sale later if the customer makes partial payments?
No, but you can record additional payments separately and link them to the customer.

Q5: What happens if a customer doesn’t repay on the due date?
The system will still keep the record open as unpaid credit until you update it with a repayment.

Q6: Will receipts for credit sales still print?
Yes, if a printer is connected. If not, receipts are saved automatically as PDFs.
