How to Add Variation Products on Desktop

Variation products allow you to sell one product in different versions — for example, T-shirts in multiple colors or sizes. This keeps your inventory organized while giving flexibility to customers.

You can add variation products in two ways on desktop.

How to Add Variation Products Directly from the Dashboard

Step 1: Go to Dashboard
Step 2: Click on + Add Products at the side of the page
Step 3: Click on Add Variation Product
Step 4: Enter the Product Name
Step 5: Select the Category
Step 6: (Optional) Enter a Product Description
Step 7: Click on Upload Image to add images of your product
Step 8: Enter the Option Name (e.g., Color)
Step 9: Enter the Option Value (e.g., Red). To add more values, click on New Value
Step 10: To add another option (e.g., Size), click on Add New Option
Step 11: Enter the Selling Price, Purchase Price (optional), and Quantity for each variation
Step 12: Click on Save Product to finish

 

 

How to Add Variation Products from the Products Section on the Sidebar

Step 1: Go to Dashboard
Step 2: Click on Products from the sidebar
Step 3: Click on Add a New Product
Step 4: Click on Add Variation Product
Step 5: Enter the Product Name
Step 6: Select the Category
Step 7: (Optional) Enter a Product Description
Step 8: Click on Upload Image to add images of your product
Step 9: Enter the Option Name (e.g., Color)
Step 10: Enter the Option Value (e.g., Red). To add more values, click on New Value
Step 11: To add another option (e.g., Size), click on Add New Option
Step 12: Enter the Selling Price, Purchase Price (optional), and Quantity for each variation

Troubleshooting

  • Issue: I added an option name but can’t save.
    Solution: Ensure you’ve entered at least one option value before saving.

  • Issue: My variation prices and quantities are showing the same.
    Solution: Check that you’ve entered unique values for each variation line.

  • Issue: I don’t see “Add Variation Product.”
    Solution: Make sure you’re in either the + Add Products or Products section and refresh your page.
