How to Add New Roles for Staff ( On Mobile)

Roles help you control what your staff can or cannot do in your shop. With Timart, you can create custom roles, define permissions, and decide who manages what. This keeps your business safe while making teamwork easier.

Steps

Step 1: Go to the Homepage
Step 2: On the navigation bar below, tap on More
Step 3: Tap on Staff
Step 4: On the Staff page, you will see three sections: All Users (if you have added any staff), Pending Users, and Roles. Your business staff can only perform roles you assign them. Tap on a user to view, edit, or delete
Step 5: To create a new role, go to the Role section by tapping on Role
Step 6: Tap on the + icon to add a new role
Step 7: Enter a Role Title and, if needed, a Description (optional)
Step 8: You can enable all permissions by tapping on the toggle beside Enable All Performance
Step 9: Or scroll down and manually select what permissions the role should have. You can choose to allow the staff to view, manage, do both, or do neither for each feature
Step 10: Once done, tap on Add New Role
Step 11: Your role has been created. You can also tap on any role later to edit or delete it

Ensure you entered a Role Title. It is mandatory

  • Staff still cannot access features even after role assignment
Double-check the permissions under the role and ensure the correct view/manage toggles are enabled

You will need to recreate it from scratch. Deleted roles cannot be recovered
