How to Record Sales on Credit
How to Record Sales on Credit (Mobile).
• Open the app and tap on Record Sales.
• Choose the product the customer wishes to purchase.
• Add the desired quantity by tapping multiple times or by long-pressing the product and entering the quantity.
Step 3: Proceed to Payment
• When finished, tap on Go to Cart and then on Go to Payment.
Step 4: Choose Credit Option
• Tap on "Tap Here to Sell on Credit" to initiate the credit sale process.
Step 5: Select or Add Customer
• Choose the customer who will receive the credit.
• If the customer is new, tap on Add New to input their details, or tap on Access Contact if the customer’s information is already saved on your device.
Step 6: Add New Customer Details (if applicable)
• If adding a new customer, enter their name, mobile number, the due date for collection, and set a credit limit to manage how much they can owe.
Step 7: Record Deposit Details
• Add the deposit amount if the customer makes a deposit on the purchase.
• Select the payment method (Cash, POS, or Transfer).
• Optionally, add other details such as address or email.
Step 8: Enable Automated Reminders
• Choose to enable automated reminders for the customer by selecting Email, SMS, or both, then tap Done.
Step 9: Finalize Additional Options and Complete Sale
• Optionally, apply a discount or note a surplus if needed.
• Finally, tap Pay to complete the sale on credit.
How to See the Overview of Your Debtors and the Debt/CreditSale you Just Recorded
Step 1: Return to Home
• Go back to the Home screen.
Step 2: Open the Debt Book
• Tap on Debt Book to view all your debtors and the recorded credit sales.
Step 3: Review Customer Details
• Tap on any customer to see their outstanding balance and payment history.
Step 4: Record a Deposit
• To record a deposit payment, tap on the customer's name.
• Select Collect Deposit.
Step 5: Enter Deposit Information
• Enter the deposit amount, select the payment method (Cash, POS, or Transfer), and input the date of the deposit.
• Optionally, add a comment, then tap on Deposit.
Step 6: Complete the Process
• Once all details are entered, you can review the updated information in the Debt Book.
This process simplifies credit sales, enhances payment tracking, and consolidates debtor information for efficient financial management.
